What type of hair do i have?
I have very thin, wavy and oily hair which requires daily washing to remove the excess sebum in my hair. However, my hair is very thin as well, which sometimes cause loss of hair due to daily washing.
How did i start using this product?
Last year, i tried a range of shampoo products from Korea. it did quite a good job in controlling sebum of my hair and made my hair soft and more volume for almost a year. However, when i purchased the 2nd bottle and started using it, i started to have 'pimples/acnes' on my hair root. i do not know how it happened but it's itchy and painful. My hair started to fall due to sebum that accumulate in my hair.
I went to a salon in Pearl Shopping Gallery Old Klang Road called Hope Salon. They had offer for scalp treatments which i find the deal is quite affordable. They have a scalp treatment from Shiseido and i opted for that. i did one last year Oct 2019 and another time in December 2019.
The first time i did in October 2019, i liked the result. it really helps to control hair loss after the treatment. However, i was still using the Korean Hair products that still giving me problems.
In December 2019, i went there for another scalp treatment again. This time, i changed my hair products to Shiseido Hair Care Aqua Intensive products.
I have tried plenty of products but none of them could sustain more than 1 year to maintain my hair to be oil free and soft all day, at the same time giving my hair volume until i found Shiseido Intensive Care products.
Results....
I would say both scalp treatments from Hope Salon & the Hair products from Shiseido help my hair to be more resilient and easy to maintain. I do not always go to hair salons to do any treatments on my hair due to my super thin hair that i have and also due to many rebonding treatments on my hair during my younger age.
Are hair scalp treatments necessary ?
It really depends on you. To me, i don't believe in all these treatments and feel it is a waste of money. But after doing the scalp treatments, sometimes in certain situations, i guess it works. If you really have oily hair and too much sebum in your hair, its good to give your hair a 'treat' or a 'detoxification'.
